Abstract

No distinct process exist for tacking all underground fires due to inherent complexity from site to site. Selection of appropriate and customarily adequate combat procedure is also very much site-specific and fully depends upon experiences and thorough monitoring of the concerned area. This paper provides comprehensive thought on monitoring of the fire area incorporating new technologies in vogue to trim down the risk of spontaneous fire or evade it from mines.
