Abstract

Large diameter explosives products such as slurry, emulsion, ANFO and HANFO are extensively used in surface coalmines, stone quarry, dolomite mines and other excavation project in India. The sensitivity, velocity of detonation (VOD), sympathetic detonation of explosives was measured in field condition. The detonation pressure and sympathetic detonation of commercial explosive products are discussed in detail.
