Abstract

Steel wires are subject to corrosion when put in operation. It is important to analyze the wire rope condition time to time to prevent hazards in the work place. This paper reflects a process which can be applied in preventing wire rope failure by taking full locked coil sample of size 24 mm (in diameter).
