This paper explains theory of a simulation model proposed and discusses a computer software developed to simulate the transient state heat flow into mine working and to predict variations in climatic condition in designing, planning and controlling the climate inlet to a high producing longwall face. It is written is standard FORTRAN 77. The paper also gives the flowchart of the program and discusses the input and output requirements. This program has been successfully applied to predict the climatic conditions at the outlet of the existing airways and gate roads. Comparison between predicted and actual measured conditions is given.
