For prevention of Indian coalmines fires, several fire fighting expertise techniques are used. The objective of this paper is to describe the different techniques, their advantages for prevention of fire constituents and spontaneous combustion. Mainly the useful techniques are gel infusion, spraying the sealant materials, injection of endothermic chemicals and flow of cryogenic gases into the miens.
