Abstract

In recent years electric blasting have been popularized rapidly, that series blasting can be performed accurately and yet safely. The paper gives a brief account of the requirements foe the exploder and how the energy and firing impulse time are necessary for the design. A brief discussion about the design of energy source and switching time has been given which is helpful for the designers.
