Abstract

Commercial delay detonators received directly from the manufactures were tested at various direct current (dc) firing levels. The probabilities of overlap and crowding of delay periods of short delay detonators were computed. Winzer’s criterion of overlapping of delay periods has been examined. The objective of investigation was to find out the influence of firing current on delay timing of detonators.
